I am sorry to hear the problem you are having with your Gmail account. there are few possible problems you need to check them first
1. You might have spammed the sender earlier. you might receiving these mails in spam folder, check once.
2. The Gmail has slightly upgraded and there are 3 tabs in inbox, primary, social and promotions, please check you might have received in either of these tabs.
3. Confirm your email address to the sender, there could be a typo.
If still you face any problem in receiving emails, I request you to write an email with the detailed information to the Gmail customer services. They will definately assist you in resolving this issue as per your satisfaction. Mostly Gmail and G suite issues are arising these days for multiple users. I would also recommend you to go for gmail to exchange migration with the help of O365 Migration service provider..
