Accessing FTP / FTPS / FTP over Explicit TLS via SmartFTP Client

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
  1. Download a copy of SmartFTP client at https://www.smartftp.com, and install it on your computer. Please note that this software is not free.
     
  2. Launch SmartFTP client.
     
  3. Click "Open a Remote Browser.
     

     
  4. In the "New Connection" window, set the following:
    - Protocol: FTPS (Explicit)
    - Host: (your actual FTP server host name)
    - Path: leave blank
    - Login type: Username & Password
    - Username: (your username)
    - Password: (your password)
     

     
  5. Click "OK" to connect.
     
  6. You might be prompted by a SSL security warning, click "Yes" to continue.
