Configure Email Accounts On Your Android Pie (v9) Device

Email
  1. Go to Apps > Settings > Users & accounts.
  2. Scroll to the bottom to tap Add account, and then tap Email.
  3. Enter your email address, and password to your email account, then tap Manual Setup, and tap IMAP account. 
  4. On the next screen, please make sure your information is correct, as follows:
     
    Username Enter your FULL email address
    Password Enter your account password
    Server
    mail.(your-domain-name.com)
    Port 143
    Security type STARTTLS (accept all certificates)
  5. On the next screen, please make sure your information is correct, as follows:
     
    SMTP server mail.(your-domain-name.com)
    Port
    587
    Security type STARTTLS (accept all certificates)
    Require sign-in Yes (tick)
    Username Enter your FULL email address
    Password Enter your account password
  6. On the next screen, please set sync frequency according to your own preference.
    Outgoing Server
    SMTP server mail.your-domain-name.com
    Security type
    None, or
    TLS (Accept all certificates)
    Authentication required before sending emails Yes
    Username Enter your FULL email address
  7. Tap Next and you are done.
  8. If you have provided the correct information, the email account creation will be completed and you will be brought back to the Users & accounts page.
