How To Configure Email Account On Your Microsoft Outlook 365

Email
  1. Start Outlook 365 application on your computer.
     
  2. Click File menu item.
     

     
  3. Click Add Account button.
     

     
  4. Enter your email address, click Advanced Option, and tick the checkbox for "Let me setup my account manually", and click Connect button.


     
  5. Depending on your preference, click IMAP (preferred) or POP.
     

     
  6. Use the following settings:
     
    IMAP
    Incoming mail server: mail.your-domain-name.com
    Port: 143
    Encryption method: None
    Untick "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
     
    POP
    Incoming mail server: mail.your-domain-name.com
    Port: 110
    Untick "This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)"
    Untick "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
     
    SMTP
    Outgoing mail server: mail.your-domain-name.com
    Port: 587
    Encryption method: None
    Untick "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"

    Click Next button.
     

     
  7. Enter your password, and click Connect button.
     

     
  8. If you have entered your details correctly, your email account will be configured successfully. Click Done button to exit.
